Delicious Soothing Morning Juice

Cool cucumbers, green apples, lemon and soothing raw honey make for a gentle, tasty morning juice that even a juicing novice will love.

I recently had to revamp my morning routine because of kidney stones (click to read). So this ‘green’ juice has no hard to digest bitter greens, just liver friendly, low oxalate, high water content fruits and vegetables.

The Recipe: Delicious Soothing Morning Juice

You will need: a juicer <---that's the one I use and I love it! Raw honey and a whisk (affiliate links) If you prefer to spice it up, replace the raw honey with a nub of fresh ginger.

Yield 2

A soothing low oxalate morning juice perfect for children, beginning juicers and those that don't like bitter greens. Raw honey can be really thick and difficult to dissolve, it helps if it's a little warm.

  • 2 cucumbers (cold)
  • 2 Granny Smith apples (cold)
  • 1 large lemon, peeled (cold)
  • 2 teaspoons raw honey or 1/2" nub of fresh ginger

  1. Run vegetables and fruit through juicer. Add raw honey and stir well. (If using ginger run through juicer in between the vegetables)

Courses Breakfast

A healthy, delicious, easy to drink morning juice in minutes! Simply run ingredients through the juicer and serve!

  1. I seriously love that you are serving it in that glass 🙂 This looks lovely. I don’t consume raw greens like kale or spinach because of the goitrogen affect on thyroid since I have thyroid issues. This is beautiful and I would love to try it!

  2. i didnt have granny smith apples but i used green pears instead and it was very sour so i added 2 apples and it was still super sour lol didnt even put the ginger because i didnt want it to be too bitter!
