I know it’s a little late in the game BUT I have been getting a lot of emails, texts and questions about what to serve for Easter dinner. More specifically, asking what I am serving for Easter dinner.  So if you are still mulling over your Easter menu, perhaps I can help you by making a few suggestions…a few really delicious albeit unusual suggestions.

Last year, when I was just a newbie blogger, a blogging dabbler of sorts… I wrote a blog post called “I Don’t Do Ham” because… well…I don’t do ham. Ham is a lovely and traditional Easter option. If you love ham by all means make one or buy one soaked in a honey crust! But ham just ain’t my jam so I am all about a less traditional version of Easter dinner.

This year I am serving this for Easter dinner:

Appetizer: Avocado Toastettes
Salad: Spring Salad with Asparagus and Honey Chipotle Dressing
Vegetable Side Dish: Green Beans with Tomatoes
Main Course: Roasted Lemon Garlic Chicken
Dessert: The Best Lemon Cake Ever

Below I am offering up a selection of 40 recipes for Easter dinner! So prepare to mix and match!

Helpful Hint :

Choose menu items that don’t have too many cross over ingredients. Example: The salad I chose doesn’t include avocados, so I purposefully chose an appetizer that did. Or if you are serving a bread or rolls with dinner, perhaps sticking with a berry dessert would be a better idea than bread pudding or cake. Now, just choose an item from each category (or less!) and you have yourself a fabulous dinner!
