Greens with Blackberries and Passionfruit Vinaigrette Recipe

Blackberries are an often overlooked berry. They are higher in age fighting and health promoting antioxidants than many berries and are quite delicious in their own right.

The Salad:

  • 1 - 5 oz bag mixed baby greens and a handful of arugula
  • 6 green onions sliced
  • ½ pint blackberries
  • Caramelized pecans or walnuts to taste
  • Avocado diced or sliced (see how to slice an avocado here)
  • Goat cheese to taste

The Dressing: Passionfruit Vinaigrette

  • ½ cup extra virgin olive oil
  • ¼ cup Fruit De La Passion Vinegar by A l’Olivier
  • Juice of half a lemon
  • Pinch of sea salt
  • 1 tsp honey or agave nectar optional

If You Prefer Lemon Vinaigrette:

  • cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • pinch sea salt
  • Few turns black pepper


  1. Place all salad ingredients on a platter.
  2. Place all dressing ingredients in container and shake. Pour over salad, toss and eat!
