  • Desired amount of green beans
  • Extra Virgin Olive Oil or melted butter
  • Sea salt to taste
  • Minced garlic to taste optional


  1. Bring a pot of water to boil
  2. Trim the ends of the green beans
  3. place beans in boiling water for 3-4 minutes
  4. strain in a colander and rinse very quickly with cold water
  5. place in a bowl, drizzle with enough olive oil or butter so all green beans are glistening
  6. Toss with garlic and sea salt
  7. Serve immediately
