1sticksoftened butter1/2 cup
1 1/2teaspoonscinnamon
Waffles:
4slicesbaconcooked and chopped
2tablespoonschopped Jalapeño pepperor less, or more, it depends on how spicy you like it!
1/4cupchiveschopped
1cupfinely grated parmesan cheese
2cupsprepared waffle mix made to package instructionsI used a Paleo mix linked above
Instructions
Maple Cinnamon Butter:
Use a fork to mix soft butter, maple and cinnamon, set aside
Waffle prep:
Cook bacon and prep Jalapeño, chives, and cheese (see link above if you need a tutorial on handling a chili pepper)
Preheat waffle iron and brush with butter or spray with organic cooking spray
Prepare 2 cups waffle mix according to package instructions then add the peppers, bacon (reserving 2 Tablespoons for garnish), cheese, and chives, mixing well.
Pour 1/2 cup waffle mix onto iron and cook until crispy
Top with maple cinnamon butter, sprinkle with reserved bacon, and drizzle with maple syrup!
