Healthy Açaí Smoothie Bowl

A delicious, healthy, five minute breakfast or snack!

Ingredients

Note: Be sure to slice bananas and freeze in advance. Makes one very generous serving or two smaller servings)

  • 2 packs Açaí berry puree
  • 1 small frozen banana (slice before freezing for easier blending)
  • 1/3 cup vanilla almond milk
  • 2 pitted dates, chopped (my favorite sweetener for smoothies!)
  • 1/2 cup fresh berries (any kind, or a mixed blend)
  • top with granola, berries, nuts, coconut...whatever you have on hand!

Instructions

  1. Remove Açaí packs from freezer and allow to sit for two minutes. Chop dates and place all other ingredients (except toppings) in a high powered blender. Use hands to break up puree in packs, add to blender. Blend for three minutes, stopping when needed to mix ingredients with a long wooden spoon and blend again. When smooth, pour into bowls and top with granola, berries, nuts, coconut...whatever you have on hand!
