Ingredients

Note: you can cut this recipe in half if you are feeding one. Keep the same cooking time.

  • 2 medium sweet potatoes (about 1- 1 1/4 pounds total) Peeled and sliced into 1/4" strips. Cut as uniformly as possible for even cooking
  • 1 1/2-2 Tablespoons extra virgin olive oil or avocado oil
  • Sea salt and pepper to taste

Variations:

  • 1 teaspoon freshly chopped rosemary added halfway through cooking time
  • cinnamon to taste, simply sprinkle onto fries at the same time as sea salt

Instructions

Note: different brands of air fryers may cook differently. You may need to adjust cooking time one way or another by a minute or two.

  1. Peel and cut potatoes into 1/4" sticks. Sticks should be uniform for even cooking. Place in a bowl.

  2. Drizzle with olive oil, sprinkle with sea salt and pepper, toss

  3. Place in basket of air fryer. Set air fryer to "air fry" and cook at 380 degrees for 14 minutes, turning fries at seven minute mark

  4. When done cooking, remove and serve. If you like your fries crispier, add a couple more minutes of cooking time

  5. To Reheat: if you have leftovers you can reheat them. Just pop leftovers back in the air fryer and reheat for 2 minutes.
