Ingredients

  • Desired amount of fresh eggs
  • sea salt and pepper

Instructions

Choose a pot with a lid that is big enough for the amount of eggs you want to boil. Place eggs in the pot and then fill with cold water so the eggs are covered by at least an inch.

  1. Place pot of water and eggs on high heat and bring to a rapid boil. Once the water is really boiling turn off heat. Cover the pot with the lid. Allow the eggs to sit in the hot water for 10-12 minutes. 10 minutes will yield a creamier yolk, 12 minutes will yield a lighter yellow yolk that is more dry. You do you.

  2. Fill a bowl with ice, add water and carefully spoon your eggs into the ice bath. Let them sit for 10 minutes. You can now peel, or store in the fridge unpeeled until you are ready to eat them. Enjoy!
