Ingredients

Place condensed milk in the refrigerator 30 minutes before beginning recipe.

  • 2 cups strawberries, diced and smashed
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 1/2 tablespoon vanilla paste or extract
  • 14 ounce can organic sweetened condensed milk

Instructions

  1. Dice strawberries very small. Add sugar and mash with a potato masher or pastry cutter until liquid forms. You want them mashed well because big chunks of frozen strawberries can be tricky to eat. Set aside.

  2. Use a hand mixer or stand mixer to make whipped cream: place cream and vanilla in bowl. Turn mixer to medium speed and beat until soft peaks form. This usually takes 3-5 minutes.

  3. Add condensed milk and beat for 30 seconds, until well mixed. Add strawberries and the liquid in the bowl, mix for 30 more seconds. Pour into a container with a lid and place in freezer for at least four hours. Serve.
