Easy Homemade Flatbread

An easy flatbread recipe made with Greek Yogurt for protein!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup all purpose flour
  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt or quality sea salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder

Topping:

  • drizzle with olive oil, melted butter or garlic butter, garnish with chopped parsley, or serve with hummus!

Instructions

  1. Combine ingredients in a bowl and stir until ingredients they form a shaggy dough. Turn dough out on lightly floured countertop, knead dough for five minutes. Form dough into a smooth ball.

  2. Cut dough ball into four equal portions. Dust rolling pin with flour. Use the rolling pin to roll into flatbread. You want each piece rolled very thin, like as flat as you can get it.

  3. Heat a dry cast iron skillet for two minutes. Turn heat to medium and add flatbread, cooking each side for 1-2 minutes, until golden and cooked through . Bread will puff up as you cook it so no worries there. Serve warm. Enjoy!
