My New Favorite Book!
If you need to start the New Year fresh, here is the book that can make it happen! Japanese cleaning consultant Marie Kondo takes tidying to a whole new level, promising that if you properly simplify and organize your home once, you’ll never have to do it again. Most methods advocate a room-by-room or little-by-little approach, which doom you to pick away at your piles of stuff forever. The KonMari Method, with its revolutionary category-by-category system, leads to lasting results. In fact, none of Kondo’s clients have lapsed (and she still has a three-month waiting list). My Favorites for The Kitchen!
Honestly there is so much beautiful cookware, dish ware and linens that I adore, I didn’t know where to begin…but I’ll give it a go… these doily plates, this twig and leaf pie/cake server, these aprons, these yummy salted caramel pops, this amazing and unique cheeseboard, and these ceramic pots and pans are a good place to start!
The Instant Pot!
Last and soooo not least, I would be lying if I didn’t say I am all about the Instant Pot! If you want one appliance to replace your rice cooker, crock pot, pressure cooker and steamer, this is it! I make some amazing BBQ Ribs and Eggs en Cocotte in mine and will have many more recipes coming!
