It is time for a Few of my Favorite Things! This month is a little different than my usual ‘favorites from around the world wide web’. Being that it is the season for giving (and getting) I will be sharing my personal favorite gift ideas! (this post contains affiliate links, see disclosure at bottom of post)
My New Favorite Book!
If you need to start the New Year fresh, here is the book that can make it happen! Japanese cleaning consultant Marie Kondo takes tidying to a whole new level, promising that if you properly simplify and organize your home once, youโll never have to do it again. Most methods advocate a room-by-room or little-by-little approach, which doom you to pick away at your piles of stuff forever. The KonMari Method, with its revolutionary category-by-category system, leads to lasting results. In fact, none of Kondoโs clients have lapsed (and she still has a three-month waiting list). I started with my closet as Marie Kondo recommends and the purging felt great, next step? My piles of papers! The Book: The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying up!
My Favorite Dress!
Right after I tell you that I decluttered my closet I am going to tell you I bought this dress in three gorgeous colors because I LOVE it so much! Dress it up or dress it down, not only is it flattering on everyone it is so soft and comfy you will want to sleep in it. It’s called the Tegan Tunic! If you are worried that it only looks cute on a 5′ 10″ size 0 model, you can see it on me here (5′ 6″ size 8) And you can recieve an extra 25% OFF Sale items with code XTRAGOOD. Offer ends 12/13!

My Favorite Stocking Stuffer: Jewelry for Your Hair!
I am a big fan of hair clips and pins. Especially for working in the kitchen and ‘second day’ hair.

My Favorites for The Kitchen!
Honestly there is so much beautiful cookware, dish ware and linens that I adore, I didn’t know where to begin…but I’ll give it a go… these doily plates, this twig and leaf pie/cake server, these aprons, these yummy salted caramel pops, this amazing and unique cheeseboard, and these ceramic pots and pans are a good place to start!

The Instant Pot!
Last and soooo not least, I would be lying if I didn’t say I am all about the Instant Pot! If you want one appliance to replace your rice cooker, crock pot, pressure cooker and steamer, this is it! I make some amazing BBQ Ribs and Eggs en Cocotte in mine and will have many more recipes coming!
MAY I PLEASE ASK A FAVOR?

So many great picks, I’m loving those white pots and pans!
I can’t pick one that I like the most. Love the dress. I love easy.
I wore it last night to my husband’s company party. First time I have been comfy at a holiday party!
That dress is super cute and looks so comfy!
I LOL when I read about “second day hair” haha! Cute hairpins sound like a great solution. ๐
so many fun things!
I love that you included a picture of yourself in the dress. Looks can be so deceiving on a typical model. P.S. It looks great on you!
This is such a great list! Those ceramic pots and pans are beautiful!
I agree! I want them bad!
I’ve seen that book all over the web. I may just have to finally have to give it a try.
I love that you share your favorite things!! I could use the tidying up book!!
