The Easy Fall Salad:
The salad itself is really easy: red leaf lettuce, sweet yellow bell pepper, green onions, caramelized walnuts, and pomegranate seeds. This salad is colorful, delicious and a cinch to toss together.

Easy Fall Salad: The Pomegranate Vinaigrette:
Pomegranates are a fall/winter fruit that we really need to take advantage of when in season. The seeds and juice are loaded with antioxidants and when it comes to color, well it’s spectacular. You have two choices when it comes to pomegranate vinaigrette, you can buy pomegranate syrup, or reduce pomegranate juice yourself until it makes a syrup. Both choices are delicious.
To Make Pomegranate Syrup Yourself:
You simply simmer 1 cup of pomegranate juice until it measures 1/4 cup. That’s it! Once it’s reduced you can use it for salad dressing.

Toss It All Together and You Have a Beautiful, Simple Salad.
Colorful, healthy and delicious.
