How to make Sautéed Carrots Three Ways: Simple or Dressed for The Holidays:
This recipe is so simple! All you need are fresh organic carrots, butter, and chives. If you’d like to bump this recipe up a notch you can add light brown sugar and orange zest!
How to Zest an Orange:
I use a tool called a microplane to zest citrus. Just lightly scrape the skin till the white is exposed, then move to a new area. The orange part of the skin is full of essential oils that smell and taste heavenly! The white underneath is bitter.
The Result:
The most amazing carrots you have ever tasted! Those crispy edges, that melted brown sugar and the fresh citrus zest!
The Recipe: Sautéed Carrots Three Ways
What you need: a microplane and as always, a good knife!

- Zest of one medium orange
-
