Air Fryer Hot Honey Chicken:
This recipe is so darn good and incredibly easy to make! Pull out your air fryer and less than 20 minutes later this succulent chicken is ready to eat. We start with boneless, skinless chicken thighs seasoned with dried spices, then we spoon on chili crisp, drizzle with honey and pop in the air fryer for 15 minutes. That’s it!
What is Chili Crisp?
Chili crisp is available at the grocery store in the international aisle. It’s available in a variety of flavors and heat levels. I like the Somos brand because it’s made with avocado oil, contains zero added sugar and is chock full of nuts and seeds for an extra crunch in each bite. If you like your dish more mild, go for the mild chili crisp, if you like heat, go for the spicy!


What to Serve Air Fryer Hot Honey Chicken With:
I like to serve this Hot Honey Chicken over rice with a side mango salsa (<—my recipe) or in the summer, fresh peach salsa! These flavors are amazing together!

Want to Double or Triple the Recipe?
Air fryers are somewhat small and to cook this recipe you need to place the chicken in a single layer, so only four chicken thighs can cook at once. If you want to serve a crowd, cook each batch and then place covered, in the oven at 200 degrees to keep warm until all the batches are done.

The Recipe: Air Fryer Hot Honey Chicken
What you need: an air fryer and chili crisp.

A delicious, tender chicken dish in less than 20 minutes!
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken thighs
- 2 tablespoon s olive oil
- garlic powder, to taste
- paprika, to taste
- chili powder, to taste
- sea salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
- 8-12 teaspoons chili crisp, 1 to 1 1/2 teaspoon per side per thigh (comes in different heat levels so pick what suits you)
- 2-3 tablespoons good quality honey

Place chicken on a plate, brush with a little olive oil, season with garlic powder, paprika, chili powder, sea salt and pepper on both sides. Spoon 1 to 1 1 1/2 teaspoons of chili crisp onto each piece of chicken and use a different spoon to spread all over chicken. Turn chicken over and repeat the entire process

Place chicken into air fryer in a single layer, drizzle generously with honey, cook for 15 minutes at 380 degrees.

When chicken is done, plate and serve!
