Ahhhhh, this little salad is so good! And super easy to make. I call it the Green Salad with Apples and Bacon (Whole30), because that’s what it is (and I couldn’t come up with a more creative title. Facts.)

How to Make The Organic Kitchen’s Green Salad with Apples and Bacon (Whole30):

This little gam of a salad is made with tender butter leaf lettuce, salty thickly sliced bacon, tart granny smith apples, walnuts and ranch dressing. Boom! That’s it.

THAT CREAMY RANCH- HOMEMADE OR STORE BOUGHT, IT’S UP TO YOU!

Who doesn’t love ranch dressing on a salad or for dipping? Unfortunately most store bought brands are loaded with crap artificial colors, flavors, fillers, preservatives etc…but there are some healthy options out there! I have a homemade version that is delicious and can be made quickly. I offer a dairy free/Whole30 option or a creamy buttermilk. Either way, this ranch is totally ‘dip worthy’! That said, if you prefer to use a store bought ranch, here are two favorites: I love Tessemae’s or Primal Kitchen’s Ranch Dressing and Primal Kitchen’s Ranch Dressing’s, both are Paleo and Whole30 approved.

What to Serve it With:

This salad begs to be paired with the perfect Filet Mignon and a baked potato. But it’s also delicious with Roast Chicken.
