The holidays are upon us. Which usually means life gets a little more hectic and we all feel rushed. Healthy eating tends to wane and good lifestyle choices fall to the wayside. When life gets like this I go for the ‘wrap’…in this case The Ranch Chicken Wrap!

The Ranch Chicken Wrap:
Wraps are so simple and take only minutes to assemble. For ‘The Ranch Chicken Wrap’ I fill a tortilla with chopped lettuce, diced avocado and tomato, leftover chicken, and then drizzle it all with a delicious ranch dressing. Lunch in five minutes!
The Dressing:
In my experience finding a suitable ranch dressing is the challenging part. I don’t like most bottled ranch dressings. They either have questionable ingredients or they don’t taste very good. Neither works for me. So choose one of two ranch dressings for this wrap: a Homemade Dump Ranch or a my favorite store bought brand, Tessemae’s!
And the finished product speaks for itself. Yum!

oh my goodness! as a southern girl, I do love ranch dressing… but havent had it in years because of the ingredients in store-bought ranch dressings; and I was never able to really get the flavor right with making my own. I CANNOT WAIT to try this ranch seasoning packet!
Tanis me too! I haven’t had ranch dressing in years and I must admit…I missed it! Loriel also makes other seasoning packets so check them out too!
Linda this looks so good! I love her blends but haven’t tried the ranch yet. I bet it’s amazing! Pinned.
Emily it was delicious! The herbs are super fresh, in fact I toned them down a bit by adding more sour cream than she suggested! I loved it!
Ranch + avocado sounds sooo good! I love her ingredients and the idea of using leftover turkey! Thanks, Linda. Fun idea.
I wish I had this for lunch today!

Thanks for the tip on the ranch dressing mix! I wanted to do some ranch-flavored mashed potatoes, but didn’t want the preservative-laden dried mix.
You are welcome!
